Stone Tucker has big dreams. Someday, he wants to be on a country radio station. Flash forward to reality, and Stone isn’t any closer to his dream than he was months ago when he left his high school sweetheart and hometown in Pennsylvania to move to Nashville. Every one back home thinks he’s going to fail, and unfortunately, Stone has started to believe it, too.
Enter Ember Daniels.
Ember lost her dad years ago in a car accident, and more recently, her older sister to leukemia. She’s had her fair share and then some of heart break and needs to get away from the modeling life her mother has been pushing on her. A summer trip to Nashville is just what she needs to find herself. She isn’t prepared for Stone, with his hot body and overall indifferent attitude toward her.
One night can change everything, and with seemingly endless summer nights, Ember and Stone both discover exactly what they’re looking for.

Alright. So I won't say whether this book is good or bad because I did not finish it. If you are looking to suspend your belief for a while this book is probably for you. But my problem was the inconsistency of the characters. First of all, there didn't seem to be anything special about the H and h. He was hot, dark-haired, muscled. She was beautiful. Skinny. Perfect but still not happy. I've heard it all before. But that's not even the part that made me give up. In the beginning of the book, Stone, the H, kept saying how he wasn't looking for a relationship and he preferred older women. He even said that it was the reason he left his high school sweetheart, because she wanted to settle down and have babies right away. Yet, literally, after knowing the h for 12 hours, he's suddenly ready to "make love to her for the rest of his life." AND, after knowing the H for 12 hours, she's giving him a blow job in her big brother's bathroom. Classy, huh? I just couldn't finish after that. I like to see the romance develop between characters and this author tells us what happens rather than shows it through actions. I don't want to read how different the h was from other girls. I wanted to see it through her actions.Anyways this book just wasn't for me. Obviously I'm in the minority so give it a chance.

Crazy Dreams edition by Dawn Pendleton Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Not a bad story, but not great either. It could have been better. This book is in need of editing to remove the mistakes and underlined words ( those were quite distracting). Where was the ending? The story just seemed to have stopped.
This was an absolute sweet love story. It really was. Oh there were miscommunications that drove me nuts but all part of a beautiful ending. I love their the characters names, they were all so creative. Great book
The dialogue was plodding and there were many grammatical/typographical errors. The main characters were mildly interesting but I actually would have preferred spending more time getting to know her "brothers". I won't be continuing this series.
I love Dawn's books. I bought them all after meeting her at a book event in Chicago. Her characters are real and I felt as if I was a part of each story.
When I found Ceazy Dreams on I didn't hesitate in ordering. Dawn is a wonderful story teller and I can't wait until her next book comes out ( hoping she writes more and more.)
A man on a journey to make it as a songwriter and singer in the music industry meets an ex model looking for a break from her family and her past. They find each other, find success in the music industry, and then lose it all because of it. Their evolution as people as they find the value of each other, outside the influence of others, makes for an entertaining read.
I liked that this book was not overly dramatic and depressing. The book is sweet and sassy from start to finish. I thought Stone and Ember were really well developed characters and that their joining together was funny and honest. Dallas and Baker do their best to prevent Stone and Ember's budding romance and are good secondary characters. The book was an easy story to follow and I enjoyed it. The dialogue between the characters was definitely realistic and tangible. I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.
Actually, I wanted to give this a 3.5 rating. The story itself was really good, but there were parts that made me shake my head a time or two. I liked the characters were very likeable, and the story line was great. It was the abrupt ending that bothered me. A Lot! Oh....there was an ending of sorts, but it left a little to be desired. There was no epilogue, or anything else to let you know how this couple ended up down the road.... it just suddenly drops off in mid sentence.
Heck, at this point I don't really know how the characters come out. Are we all suppose to go out and buy the next book to find out? Does the next book even involve this couple? Do they go back into the music business together, again? Do they ever make it on the big stage like they did before, or were they black-balled after walking away?
